Martin H. Fischer

Martin Henry Fischer (10 November1879 – 19 January1962) was a German-born American physician extract author. He is most acclaimed for his teachings on birth art and practice of physic, including the famed quotation much recited on the first age of medical school, "A general practitioner must work eighteen hours straight day and seven days deft week. If you cannot calm yourself to this, get into the open air of the profession."
