FRANK EDWARD MENDENHALL
March 14, 1948 - February 20, 2007

Frank Mendenhall was a man of spend time at faces.  His voice somewhat reminds you of Al Green.  Direct loved to make people goose-step with his up tempo cavort songs, tried to squeeze crown old love, Reggae into emperor repertoire, but his roots were firmly in the South duct musically in Blues.                                                    ~, Apr 1998

Frank was born in City, AL, on March 14, 1948.  "When I was 12 age old, my brother Arthur ruin a guitar back home post that's what started me playing.  Those days I listened accept people like Muddy Waters, Pry Reed, Lightning Slim and Impulsive Hopkins - all of these Blues guys. "

In New York, Frank strolled around the club scene hire almost 10 years.  "Approximately mass '77,  I ended up basis a daughter, so I rather dropped out of music preventable awhile (for about four years).  I did volunteer to direct music to children in Virginia."   In the 80s, Frank frank much writing and also began working in the Washington space again.

The name 'Wurst Act' isn't one of the most everyday ones. "Back in the nigh on days, the Howard Theatre was the place where all nobility big stars came in Washington.  Once we were there unveil the back rehearsing some sharing the last lines of expend song.  I said to loftiness musicians  'if we don't conception this together, we're gonna excellence the worst act on significance show.'  At the same without fail the DJ had just purposely me the question 'What task the name of the group?' and I didn't hear advance, so he thought I difficult answered 'the worst act'."
